  1. ha~ha~ The most surprised for me is not the statistic numbers. It is that " people believe that 14 Feb is the beginning of bird's mating season". I have no idea about bird's mating season before. The number that surprised me is that "6 millions couples are like to engaging at 14 Feb." That means 12 millions people are not along (no more single ) ever year on 14 Feb in the world.

  2. I was so surprised about the statistic which said 220 million of roses are produced at Valentine season.
The season is extremely cold and it is difficult for people to produce them naturally.
However, It is possible now due to technology developments such as quick transportation from south area, improvement
of breed and strong vinyl house.
Hence, we can say that this tradition contributes technology and business.

  5. I surprised how many people celebrate Valentine's in America! Then, going back to the story of this day is interesting because most people doesn't know what is behind the tradition. Not always was only for romance or in love people. Its surprised also that Valentine is a Christian saint who started this celebration, marring young people in the middle of the Claudius II empire, he thought that single men made better soldiers! Some how, for the same reason, St Valentine was sent to prison and then to death. Now a day is amazing how much is spent every year for this celebration.

  6. What surprised me is more than 67% percent of American people are involved in Valentine's day. It's far more popular than in China.
Another thing I did know is the the root of Valentise's day went back to 1300 years ago, a really long history.

But the bad thing is, I listened from anther video, and it said every year there are 24 millions fetus are aborted.

  7. Oh my God, I don’t think how much people like to spend.)))

The 62% of American people is “crazy” and 38% a single)).

The Statistics said that in USA people spend around $130 per person, approximately 20 billion dollars.
The most popular gift is cards, flowers, chocolate box in the shape of heart and jewelries.
In States every Valentine’s Day stores sold around 220 millions of rose, 35 million heard shape boxes, and this statistic only from USA think in global. The all couples around the world spend GAZILLION dollar.
However, buy a gift for person that you love or you just like it’s a good idea.

  8. I'm surprised for the statistics that says that Americans spend $130 each person a year for Valentine's day.
I think we should express our feelings the all year, and not spend that money just because we have to.

  9. I think the Valentines's Day is interesting about it roots and it meaning. But, What the people really believe about this? what the people celebrate if they don't know nothing about this day?. My opinion is that all the people just are looking a excuse to spend money and feeling in love or just to celebrate something. I think is the same history in to many day of celebration!

  12. I was so sprised about it's different from Japan.
People in Japan also cereblate Valentine's Day but the women give chocolate to the men and then to tell true felling to the favourite men.
That's why I was so surprised that Americans spend $20 billion for chocolate, flowers and the other gifts like jewely but I like the culture:-) kk
